Well-Known Estate Agency Acquires Rival Firm

Anthony Pepe has announced the acquisition of Chamberlains Estates in Enfield, north London.

The conclusion of the deal sees the now former owners of the Chamberlains business, Andrew Ryde and Andrew Standen, retire. All other staff at the business will continue as part of the Anthony Pepe Group.

The acquisition strengthens the Anthony Pepe network, increasing it to five offices, and links strategically with their offices in Palmers Green and Cockfosters.

The business will, at the present time, continue to trade within the Anthony Pepe network, using the Chamberlains Estates brand that was first established in Enfield in 1989.

The acquisition sees the Anthony Pepe group lettings and management portfolio increase in numbers by around 20%.

Charlie Perdios, Anthony Pepe MD, commented: “I look forward to building on the well-established and professional approach and reputation that the business already has.

“Like Chamberlains Estates, we have been established over thirty years and have a successful track record that has been regularly recognised by the number of industry awards the team has secured.

“We shall bring additional resources in areas such as people, technology and marketing to both complement and improve the Chamberlains Estates operation.

“We are continuing to look to expand our business and expect to make further acquisition announcements in the near future.”

Former owners of the Chamberlains Estates business, Andrew Ryde and Andrew Standen, said: “We are delighted to have been able to find an acquirer in Charlie Perdios and Anthony Pepe that matches our ethos for professionalism and customer service and we know that our former clients and customers will benefit from both continuity and stability but also renewed energy and resources moving forward.”
